Active play

This module is designed to help you understand areas of good practice relating to active play and its benefits for children under 5 years of age.

Early years settings are ideally placed to provide children under five with opportunities to be physically active, both indoors and out. It is important to establish a high level of physical activity at the earliest age in order to provide the best start in life to encourage activity patterns and habits to influence your long term health.

Watch the film carefully! In this module, it asks what outdoor activities are featured!

At the end of the module, download your evidence sheet to demonstrate your learning and tick it off on your Nurturing Health Certificate.
