Welcome to the Early Years Food and Nutrition Module.

Eating a healthy, balanced, varied and nutritious diet is essential for health and wellbeing. This module is designed to help you to understand good practice relating to food, drinks and nutrition for children under 5 years of age. 

The reading and interactive tasks cover everything from understanding a child's calorie intake, and how this translates into a healthy diet, covering everything from providing starchy foods to milk and dairy products.

At the end of the module, download your evidence sheet to demonstrate your learning and tick it off on your Nurturing Health Certificate.
